Custom enterprise oracle providers
Reflector DAO proposes expanding the decentralized oracle to support custom enterprise data providers. The oracle extension would ingest external API data from custom sources, enabling Soroban smart contracts to access proprietary datasets beyond standard price feeds.
Reflector DAO proposes a custom enterprise oracle capability, extending its decentralized price feed oracle to support external API data from any custom provider. Rather than limiting Reflector to market price feeds, this extension would enable enterprises to bring proprietary datasets onchain. Smart contracts on Soroban could then consume these custom data feeds for derivatives, lending, settlement, and other DeFi use cases. The proposal reflects Reflector's shift toward institutional adoption, where enterprise-specific data sources matter as much as standardized market prices.
