Reflector, the decentralized oracle serving Stellar DeFi, has posted a DAO proposal for a new data provider contract that quotes fiat currency exchange rates. Currently focused on crypto asset pricing, the FX oracle addition would expand Reflector's offerings to include real-world currency data. This capability enables new DeFi primitives around cross-currency risk management, remittance pricing, and derivatives denominated in fiat pairs—extending the oracle's utility for financial protocols and institutional use cases on Stellar.
