YieldBlox DAO is seeking community signal on launching a second Blend lending pool dedicated to Ultra Stellar's Bitcoin and Ether pegged assets. The separate pool would segregate risk from the primary pool, utilize idle DAO treasury BLND, and address Soroban contract deployment limits.
YieldBlox DAO is running a governance snapshot asking whether to launch a second Blend lending pool dedicated to Ultra Stellar's high-quality Bitcoin and Ether pegged assets (yBTC, yETH, yXLM, yUSDC). The proposed separate pool would segregate risk from the primary YieldBlox pool, leverage idle DAO treasury BLND for bootstrapping, and address current Soroban contract deployment limits. These assets already have custody yield and liquidity support on Aquarius. If the signal is positive, a follow-up proposal will cover emissions configuration.
