The Stellar iOS/macOS SDK is a native Swift library providing transaction building, Horizon and Soroban RPC access, high-level smart contract support, and implements 18 Stellar Ecosystem Proposals. Maintained by Christian Rogobete since 2018, it's used by LOBSTR, Unstoppable Wallet, and other ecosystem applications. In Q1 2026, the SDK shipped 5 releases with Protocol 25 support, 88.78% unit test coverage via new CI pipelines, security hardening, Swift 6 Sendable conformance, SEP-53 message signing, and a machine-generated XDR code generator. The proposal requests 18,000 XLM for continued maintenance addressing Protocol 26, bug fixes, OpenZeppelin Smart Account support for passkey-based wallet authentication, and a rewrite of SEP-11 TxRep to use code-generated methods.
