Builder Spotlight #10

Sabrina is an Indonesian developer and college student building Olio, a private USDC payment app for freelancers and creators. She discovered Stellar through the Indonesia Bootcamp and Rise In's support. Olio won first place in the payment track at the APEX Stellar hackathon, and the team is now shipping to real users.

Lumen Loop's take

Sabrina, a computer science student from Indonesia, discovered blockchain through an Ethereum smart contract workshop. She got her real introduction to Stellar via the Indonesia Bootcamp (Dev Factory Bandung + Rise In), where she met Kenny and other builders. That bootcamp cohort became the foundation for Olio, a private USDC payment app solving a concrete problem: web3 workers can't share wallet addresses without exposing their entire financial history. Olio lets creators build private payment identities using passphrases. The team shipped it in two weeks and won first place in the payment track at the APEX Stellar hackathon. Now they're pushing to production. Kenny, Rise In's Indonesia chapter lead, reflects on the APAC hackathon's scale: 400+ participants, 86 projects, and rigorous week-long judging to verify claims matched code—many submissions were mockups, not real builds.
