Nicholas Haraf from the Stellar Development Foundation demonstrates Kelp GUI v1, a graphical interface for managing trading bots on the Stellar Decentralized Exchange. The tool allows users to create and manage multiple bot instances with customizable trading strategies without coding.
Nicholas Haraf, a developer at the Stellar Development Foundation, presents Kelp GUI version 1, a graphical interface for the Kelp trading bot platform. Kelp is a command-line trading bot originally built for the Stellar Decentralized Exchange with support for over 100 centralized exchanges. The GUI, open-sourced in summer 2019, simplifies bot management by allowing users to create multiple bot instances, configure trading strategies via UI, and set dynamic price feeds from various sources including centralized exchanges and fiat APIs. The demo shows creating two competing bots on the USD-EUR market, configuring price feeds, setting spread levels, and executing trades. The GUI currently supports only the Stellar DEX and the buy-sell strategy, with plans to support additional strategies and a hosted testnet environment.
