Esteban Iglesias from Paltolabs presents SourceSwap and DeFindex, two major DeFi protocols on Stellar. SourceSwap is a DEX aggregator that routes trades across multiple liquidity sources via smart contracts and APIs, while DeFindex enables wallets and fintech apps to offer yield-generating savings accounts through automated DeFi strategies.
In this Meridian Conference session, Esteban Iglesias introduces SourceSwap and DeFindex, two core DeFi protocols built by Paltolabs for the Stellar ecosystem. SourceSwap functions as a decentralized exchange aggregator, combining liquidity from multiple DEXs (SourceSwap AMM, Aquarius, Fenix, and Stellar Classic DEX) through smart contracts and a REST API. Developers can use the AMM directly for liquidity pools, the aggregator for optimal routing, or the API for simplified integration. DeFindex removes technical complexity by offering plug-and-play yield strategies for wallets and fintech apps, enabling users to earn returns through automated smart contracts without managing DeFi directly. Both protocols support multi-asset and multi-strategy vaults, with over 600k in TVL. Live API demos show how developers can execute swaps and manage vaults with minimal code, and the presentation highlights opportunities for hackathon participants to build new strategies and integrations.
