The Stellar Development Foundation unveiled the Anchor Platform, a production-ready tool built to accelerate anchor adoption on Stellar. Anchors are critical infrastructure that bridge value between Stellar and external payment networks. The platform addresses key barriers to entry by providing standardized APIs, support for third-party custodians, configurable SEP protocol implementations, and multiple deployment options including Docker and cloud marketplaces. It implements a simple callback API for business logic, a platform API for state management, and optional event streaming. The roadmap includes SEP24, custody provider integrations, and SEP6 support. The platform is live today on GitHub with Helm charts for deployment.
