OpenZeppelin's Bojan discusses the Stellar Contracts Library, built in under a year with four audits completed. The library provides foundational smart contract tools including tokens, access controls, and innovative features like smart accounts with passkeys and real-world asset tokenization tailored for Soroban.
Bojan from OpenZeppelin presents the Stellar Contracts Library, developed in partnership with Stellar in less than a year. The library includes fungible and non-fungible tokens, ownership controls, yield-bearing vaults, and Merkle proofs. Key innovations include smart accounts with passkeys for seedless transactions, contract-based multi-signature frameworks, and real-world asset token implementations built with T-Rex standard partners. OpenZeppelin introduced the Contracts Wizard, a UI for configuring production-ready smart contracts with a few clicks, and an MCP server for AI agent integration. Operational infrastructure includes Monitors for event tracking and Relayers for transaction sponsorship, with the Stellar Foundation hosting a relayer instance. Planned 2026 features include time locks, governance contracts, multi-calls, meta transactions, and advanced smart account patterns.
