Boundless, a Web3 platform built on Stellar using Soroban smart contracts, launched to solve trust issues in project funding by releasing funds in milestones rather than lump sums. The platform supports hackathons, crowdfunding, bounties, and grants for both technical and non-technical contributors across the African builder community.
Boundless is a funding platform built on Stellar blockchain using Soroban smart contracts, designed to address trust and transparency issues in project funding. Instead of releasing all funds at once, Boundless releases funding step-by-step as projects complete milestones, making progress visible to both backers and builders. The platform supports multiple features including hackathons, crowdfunding, bounties for non-technical roles, and grants for open-source projects. Founders Benjamin and Collins explained that Stellar was chosen for its speed, affordability, and strong ecosystem support through the Stellar Community Fund. The platform recently completed a pilot hackathon with 60+ participants and plans to expand with a hackathon partnership next month and broader ecosystem integrations within the next three to five years.
