Stellar's Community Growth QF round Showcase #2 features three African builders: Iowaka Uganda developing a Stellar-to-shilling exchange, Secure Flow building freelance escrow on Soroban, and Kayaba Labs running blockchain education programs in Ghana.
Stellar's Community Growth QF round Showcase #2 highlights three African builders working on Stellar-powered solutions for emerging markets. Iowaka Uganda, a community NGO from Uganda, is developing a platform to convert Stellar's native token into Ugandan shillings, targeting underbanked communities. Secure Flow, an escrow platform for freelancers built on Stellar's Soroban, graduated from the Scaffold Stellar hackathon and is now expanding through community hackathons and developer mentorship. Kayaba Labs, a blockchain education company in Ghana, runs the DAB Nursery program combining workshops and hackathons to onboard African builders into the Stellar ecosystem. All three projects are competing in the Community Growth QF round.
