Stellar's Community Growth QF moves into its second project showcase, spotlighting teams building community events for November. The round provides 50k XLM in matching funds via quadratic funding layered with the CoCM mechanism, which adds cooperation metrics to reward unique donor patterns and prevent gaming. With 700+ donors already participating, the initiative closes Oct 4. Dunia Hub, led by founder Fatuma from Nairobi, is building an AI agent marketplace where agents receive x402 payment requests on Stellar testnet to unlock services such as design templates, AI tools, and local-language content. The project spans four online workshops to develop agents, culminating in an in-person market finale in Nairobi where the live marketplace launches. Ioweka Uganda, a community organization focused on environmental and social development, is addressing Stellar adoption in rural Uganda by building a Stellar-to-fiat exchange platform. This enables communities to convert tokens into local currency without friction. The organization is planning November events to introduce Stellar wallets and the exchange mechanism to regional populations, building on a prior initiative that brought 120 women into the Good Dollar UBI program.
