Stellar Developer Meeting covering Protocol 26 testnet launch, AI agents and agentic payments (X402/MPP), $2B in tokenized RWAs on network, and live demo of NoEther perpetual DEX platform built on Stellar.
Khan from Stellar Development Foundation hosted the first regular Stellar Developer Meeting. Key announcements: Protocol 26 codenamed Yardstick went live on testnet with CAP 81 (faster Soroban eviction) and CAP 82 (checked arithmetic for 256-bit integers). Stellar ecosystem now holds $2B in tokenized real-world assets with institutional players like Franklin Templeton and Centrifuge. DeFi activity includes Blend at $80M TVL, new RWA lending markets on Templars Protocol, and Sushi's concentrated liquidity DEX launch. X402 and Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) are now live on mainnet, enabling AI agents to make micropayments for API access and services. NoEther co-founders Yahya and Mert demoed their perpetual DEX on Stellar featuring isolated and cross-margin trading, keeper bots for order execution, and plans for developer APIs and agentic trading.
