Lumen Loop's take

Khan from the Stellar Development Foundation hosted the first regular Stellar Developer Meeting, announcing Protocol 26 (Yardstick) now live on testnet with improvements to Soroban eviction scanning and checked arithmetic for 256-bit integers. The ecosystem has crossed 2 billion dollars in tokenized real-world assets with institutional players like Franklin Templeton and Centrifuge leading adoption. Key DeFi developments include Templar Protocol adding six new RWA lending markets, Sushi deploying concentrated liquidity pools, and cross-chain bridges connecting Stellar to 80+ blockchains. The meeting highlighted X402 and Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) as solutions enabling AI agents to make autonomous micropayments on Stellar. NoEther, a new perpetual DEX and latest SDF Community Fund graduate, demonstrated their platform featuring isolated and cross-margin trading with up to 10x leverage, keeper bots for order execution, and plans for developer APIs and agentic trading capabilities.
