OpenZeppelin presents their managed Stellar Relayer service with a channels plugin for parallel transaction processing. The service enables gasless, high-throughput transactions on Stellar with automatic fee bumping and sequence number management.
OpenZeppelin engineers Dylan Kilkenny, Sai, and Collins presented the managed Stellar Relayer service during a Solar Developer Meeting. The service combines the open-source OpenZeppelin Relayer with a custom channels plugin that enables parallel transaction processing through channel account pooling. Key features include gasless transactions, automatic fee bumping, Soroban smart contract support, and high-throughput capabilities. The channels plugin uses Redis for account management and allows users to submit multiple transactions in parallel with a single account. OpenZeppelin is offering both a managed service (launching soon at channels.openzeppelin.com) and self-hosted options with Docker configuration. The SDK client simplifies integration, and comprehensive documentation is available on docs.openzeppelin.com.
