Stellar developers discuss launching an idea bank to help builders discover needed projects and coordinate ecosystem development. The initiative aims to guide hackathon participants and identify gaps in the Stellar and Soroban ecosystem.
During a Stellar Developer Meeting, Boxy and Raf introduced Stellar Lite, a discovery platform for ecosystem projects, and discussed plans for an idea bank to coordinate what gets built on Stellar. The idea bank will collect requests from the community for needed tools, SDKs, DeFi primitives, and applications, helping hackathon participants and new builders find meaningful work. Key discussion points included the need for better DEX infrastructure like Uniswap v4, portfolio management tools, and composable building blocks that projects can reuse. The team plans to launch the idea bank through Discord forums and eventually a dedicated website, starting with the Toronto hackathon next week.
