Over 100 builders from across the Stellar ecosystem gathered in Lisbon for HackMeridian, a 27-hour hackathon in a converted train station. The event brought together developers from Chile, France, Pakistan, and beyond, blending competition with cross-border collaboration.

Over 100 builders gathered in Lisbon for HackMeridian, a 27-hour hackathon held in a historic converted train station before Meridian 2026. The event showcased international participation, with developers from Chile, France, Pakistan, and beyond competing and collaborating. While the hackathon featured prize competition with Genesis and Scale tracks, the standout element was the cooperative spirit: teams shared code, gave feedback, and helped each other despite competing for the same prizes. Finalists included ZKross, 4Ward, Booker Bob, Nest in the Genesis track and Alloy and TroqPay in the Scale track. The experience highlighted how hackathons serve as crucial venues for ecosystem builders to connect, learn, and ship, regardless of geographic boundaries.
