Stellar Build Challenge 7 launches with two submission routes: contributing to open-source Stellar projects or building one of four new cornerstone apps (quorum explorer, trade bot maker, social trading, peer-to-peer wallet). Submissions open June 1st with awards based on merit.

The Stellar Development Foundation announced Stellar Build Challenge 7, returning to community-driven roots with two paths to awards. Developers can contribute to existing open-source projects across SDKs, wallets, explorers, and tools, or build one of four specified cornerstone projects: a better quorum explorer, trade bot maker, social trading platform, or peer-to-peer wallet. The challenge emphasizes collaboration and community feedback on GalacticTalk and GitHub. Previous SBC winners will receive direct support outside the challenge framework to make room for new projects. Submissions open June 1st and close August 15th, with winners announced by August 30th. Awards are merit-based, with higher quality projects receiving larger prizes.
