Balanced Network has launched wrapper-free BALN and sICX tokens across multiple chains including Stellar, enabling seamless holding, swapping, and transferring. Previously limited to ICON, these tokens now reduce friction for users on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, and soon Optimism. Upcoming features include cross-chain liquidity, rewards, and governance.
BALN and sICX, core tokens of the Balanced Network from the ICON ecosystem, are now available wrapper-free on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, ICON, and Stellar, with Optimism support imminent. This multi-chain expansion overcomes previous limitations that confined adoption to ICON users by allowing trades and transfers via users' preferred wallets and chains. Contract addresses are provided for manual token addition where needed. The launch paves the way for cross-chain liquidity provision, Savings Rate deposits with rewards starting in January, and governance participation including fee earning and reward boosts.
