BP Ventures won a $125,000 grant from the Stellar Community Fund for its solution enabling FinTechs to leverage USDC on the Stellar blockchain for payments. The platform integrates with MoneyGram's USDC services for seamless cross-border remittances. This highlights growing adoption of Stellar and USDC in the remittance industry.

BP Ventures, a US-based consulting and software firm, was selected from 47 finalists to receive a $125,000 grant from the Stellar Community Fund on July 11th, 2022, in Sheridan, WY. The award recognizes their one-click solution that allows FinTechs to utilize free USDC transfers and DeFi features on the Stellar blockchain. This builds on Circle's USDC stablecoin and MoneyGram's partnership with Stellar, announced in October 2021, enabling customers to send USDC from wallets and receive local currency at MoneyGram locations in markets like the US, Canada, Philippines, and Kenya. BP Ventures' BP Pay solution facilitates seamless, secure, and near-instant cross-border fund movements. Jeffrey Phaneuf, managing director, praised USDC on Stellar as one of the most innovative blockchain solutions in a decade. The company, founded by payment experts, helps FinTechs leverage Stellar for revenue growth, reduced chargebacks, and improved treasury efficiency.
