The BP Pay solution combines Stellar's low-cost settlement layer with MoneyGram's global payout network, allowing free USDC transfers that settle in local currency. This addresses adoption barriers for FinTechs: high transfer costs, compliance friction, and working capital inefficiencies. Circle and MoneyGram's October 2021 partnership made USDC-to-fiat conversion available at MoneyGram locations in Canada, US, Philippines, and Kenya.
