Coinbase Wallet will delist XLM and three other major cryptocurrencies effective Dec. 5, citing low usage. Users can withdraw balances after the deadline using recovery phrases.
Coinbase Wallet announced it will stop supporting XLM, XRP, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Ethereum Classic (ETC) starting Dec. 5 due to low usage. All four tokens gained prominence during the 2017 bull market but have since lost market share. Users with existing balances will retain access to withdraw funds after the delisting date using their recovery phrase. XRP remains the seventh-largest cryptocurrency by market cap at $19.6 billion, while BCH and ETC have declined significantly since their creation over five years ago.
