Arculus, a hardware wallet developed by CompoSecure, has integrated with MoneyGram Access to enable seamless cash-to-USDC conversion on the Stellar network. Users can visit any of MoneyGram's 440,000+ locations across 200+ countries to deposit cash and receive USDC directly into their self-custody Arculus wallet. The integration also enables the reverse: holders of USDC can withdraw cash in local currency at MoneyGram locations. Separately, CompoSecure announced a Stellar Development Foundation grant to develop Soroban smart contracts for DeFi Pay, a feature allowing stablecoin holders to spend USDC at any Visa or Mastercard point-of-sale terminal. Arculus is the first hardware wallet to provide this level of global cash-in/cash-out infrastructure on Stellar, positioning it as a key bridge between digital assets and traditional commerce.
