Lumen Loop's take

The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is prioritizing gender diversity in its ecosystem, recognizing that women comprise 55% of the global unbanked population yet receive only 2% of VC funding and represent just 27% of the Web3 workforce. To address this disparity, SDF is partnering with SheFi, an organization dedicated to empowering women through Web3 education and community building. The partnership includes SDF sponsoring SheFi's Brussels summit on July 7th, where Anke Liu from SDF's Ecosystem Growth team will deliver a keynote on real-world blockchain use cases with focus on women-founded teams. SDF will also host an activation demonstrating Stellar's new passkeys feature, allowing users to sign transactions using biometric authentication rather than secret keys, aimed at attracting diverse builders and community members to the Stellar ecosystem.
