Lumen Loop's take

Etherfuse announced a $3 million seed funding round to advance its platform for issuing tokenized real-world assets, particularly emerging market government debt called Stablebonds. The round was co-led by White Star Capital and North Island Ventures, with backing from the Stellar Development Foundation, Funfair, and angel investors. Etherfuse has already launched five products including short-term notes from Mexico and Brazil, and recently facilitated creation of MXNe, a Mexican stablecoin backed by tokenized government bonds, in collaboration with Brale. The company currently issues assets on Stellar and Solana blockchains with plans to expand further. Led by CEO David Taylor (former cryptography engineer at Apple and Boeing) and CTO AJ, Etherfuse is leveraging Mexico's regulatory framework to establish itself as a compliant global platform for tokenized assets.
