GMO-Z.com Trust Company announced the availability of GYEN and ZUSD stablecoins on the Stellar network. GYEN is the world's first regulated Japanese yen stablecoin, while ZUSD is a USD stablecoin, both fully backed by 1:1 fiat reserves and audited monthly by independent accountants. Users can purchase and redeem these assets directly from GMO Trust's platform at 1:1 ratios. The company will offer no-cost swaps between Ethereum and Stellar versions, and Fireblocks became the first custody provider supporting these assets. This integration brings regulated, multi-currency stablecoins to Stellar's 7 million+ accounts, enabling faster and cheaper transactions compared to Ethereum.
