BitGo, a leading digital asset custody platform, has launched full support for USDC on Stellar, becoming the first non-exchange wallet to offer this service. The move allows institutional investors to store Stellar USDC in a secure, regulated custodial environment and take advantage of Stellar's sub-five-second transaction speeds and near-zero fees. BitGo has supported Stellar assets since 2019, including lumens and other tokens. By enabling institutions to move USDC between exchanges and BitGo's custody solution on Stellar, the service addresses the challenge of high transaction costs and slow settlement times on other networks.
