SDF's 2019 year-end report highlights major organizational and ecosystem milestones. The foundation expanded its team fivefold to 56 employees, adding key executives and strengthening policy and legal outreach. Stellar accounts grew from 2.4M to 4.1M, with ecosystem anchors like AnchorUSD issuing nearly a million dollars in assets. Protocol releases 11 and 12 improved network capacity and transaction pricing. The network achieved new maturity with Tier 1 validators now capable of sustaining it independently of SDF. The first Meridian conference brought together 380 developers from 40+ countries. SDF's 2020 priorities focus on network robustness, building trust, and fostering sustainable use cases toward establishing a global payment standard.
