Lumen Loop's take

Following ecosystem feedback about a bug in Stellar Core v20.1.0, Stellar network validators postponed the Protocol 20 upgrade vote. The Stellar Development Foundation announced a phased recovery plan: Core 20.2 Release Candidate on February 2, Testnet reset and upgrade on February 6, stable release on February 9, and a target vote on Protocol 20 upgrade on February 20. Validators will have until February 20 to install the new version. The phased rollout of Soroban smart contracts will continue as planned, with each phase introducing expanded capacity. The SDF emphasized this is a collective ecosystem effort and encouraged community engagement through dev discord and mailing lists.
