Nuvanté Technologies announced a stablecoin clearing prototype built on Stellar and tested in the Bank of England's RTGS RT2 Synchronisation Lab. The prototype validates how fiat-backed stablecoins can be issued, redeemed, and exchanged through a neutral clearing layer, demonstrating that Stellar's regulated finance infrastructure can support central bank settlement environments.

Nuvanté Technologies, a digital money clearing infrastructure company, has developed a stablecoin clearing prototype on Stellar and validated it in the Bank of England's RTGS RT2 Synchronisation Lab in August 2026. The work tested multi-money issuance and redemption flows, including stablecoin-to-stablecoin and stablecoin-to-fiat exchanges, demonstrating how regulated clearing rails could operate in a central bank settlement environment. SDF CEO Denelle Dixon highlighted Stellar's design for regulated finance, positioning the network as infrastructure for real-world financial use cases. Nuvanté is also a member of the DTCC Tokenization Industry Working Group and participates in DTCC's multi-chain tokenization strategy, linking this work to institutional asset infrastructure. The announcement aligns with the Bank of England's RTGS roadmap to extend atomic settlement capabilities to new asset classes.
