At ETHChile 2024, Paltalabs CTO Francisco Catrileo led a technical workshop titled 'Build on Stellar: Real-World Utility,' introducing Latin American blockchain developers to Soroban smart contract development and practical DeFi infrastructure. The session covered Stellar's consensus protocol fundamentals, XLM reserve mechanics, and how to design and manage liquidity pools via Soroswap, an automated market maker protocol on Soroban. Participants learned asset swap patterns, cross-border payment design, reserve economics, and tokenization use cases. The workshop demonstrates Paltalabs' mission to advance blockchain adoption in Latin America by connecting developers to production-ready DeFi infrastructure built on Stellar.
