Lumen Loop's take

Drips has shipped Wave, a grants initiative that connects open source contributors with funding through the Stellar Development Fund. Three cycles have already run, bringing thousands of developers into the Stellar ecosystem and rewarding them for contributions. The team is also piloting a collaboration with UNICEF's Office of Innovation to explore how Drips can fund critical open source infrastructure beyond Web3. Protocol updates now use Lit Protocol and Trusted Execution Environments for faster and more verifiable GitHub repository claims, removing chain-specific dependencies. The team also mentored at the Codigo Alebrije hackathon in Mexico City, reinforcing strong technical momentum in LatAm.
