Samsung Galaxy smartphones now support Stellar blockchain through integration with Samsung Blockchain Keystore, enabling users to store Stellar private keys and developers to build blockchain apps for Galaxy devices.
The Stellar Development Foundation partnered with Samsung to integrate Stellar into the Samsung Blockchain Keystore, making Stellar the fifth blockchain supported by the platform alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, and Klaytn. The integration allows Galaxy smartphone users to securely store Stellar private keys in the device's built-in blockchain wallet and enables developers to create blockchain applications for the platform. Four Stellar-based startups including DSTOQ, SatoshiPay, Litemint, and Nodle have already committed to building apps for the Keystore, signaling early ecosystem adoption.
