SCF #44 closes with record participation: 175 submissions resulted in 46 projects awarded $4.57M XLM across three tracks. Winners represent DeFi protocols, payment infrastructure, and developer tooling built on Stellar.

SCF #44 marks the largest Stellar Community Fund round ever, with 175 submissions generating 46 awards totaling $4.57M XLM. The expanded SCF 7.0 structure introduced three tracks: the open-track for novel on-chain use cases reviewed by delegates and voted by community (12 awarded from 50 submissions), integration-track for projects building on existing ecosystem tools (26 awarded from 95), and RFP-track for targeted developer tooling (reviewed by delegates only). Open-track winners span DeFi infrastructure including Lucent (CDP stablecoin), Octarine (RWA liquidity layer), and specialized protocols like VRF-Soroban (randomness) and LumAgg (DEX aggregation). Integration-track emphasized emerging markets and payments, with winners including Remi (confidential remittances), Chainless (self-custody), Azza (WhatsApp stablecoin payments), and Basilic (Latin America payment infrastructure). The record participation reflects growing developer confidence in Soroban and Stellar's ecosystem maturation across DeFi, fintech, and real-world asset infrastructure.
