The Stellar Development Foundation launched the Soroban Security Audit Bank, distributing up to $1M in audit credits from six top-tier firms to 20-30 high-priority projects building on Soroban to strengthen smart contract security across the ecosystem.

The Stellar Development Foundation announced the launch of the Soroban Security Audit Bank, a program distributing up to $1M in security audit credits in partnership with six leading audit firms: Ottersec, Veridise, Runtime Verification, CoinFabrik, QuarksLab, and Coinspect. The program will support 20-30 high-priority projects, prioritizing financial protocols managing on-chain value and infrastructure contracts. Selected projects were chosen based on ecosystem participation, readiness for audit, and involvement in the Stellar Community Fund. The initiative complements Soroban's built-in security features like Rust-based development, unit testing, and fuzz testing, addressing the critical need for expert vulnerability assessment in smart contracts.
