The first Stellar Community Fund seed round awarded 5M XLM across 8 projects spanning payments, DeFi, gaming, fintech, and blockchain infrastructure. Grant recipients include COINQVEST (enterprise payments), Anclap (digital wallet), OptionBlox/YieldBlox (DeFi protocols), Task.io (social missions), Litemint (gaming/NFTs), Leaf Global Fintech (stablecoin wallet), Mojoflower (SME share management), and Blocknify (e-signatures). The SDF plans two additional 3.5M XLM rounds in 2021 and is implementing community feedback: moving discussions to Discord, adopting budget-request voting, and limiting voting to qualified community members to improve fairness and prevent gaming.
