DFS Lab in collaboration with the Stellar Development Foundation announced a Blockchain Bootcamp targeting early to mid-stage startups across Africa. The three-day design sprint provides hands-on technical support to help companies define problems, storyboard solutions, and develop prototypes for blockchain-based financial services. Winning solutions will receive prizes ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 USDC, with opportunities for additional grants and investment from SDF and other investors at a demo day. The bootcamp welcomes fintech, blockchain-native, and crypto-curious companies exploring use cases including cross-border payments, financial inclusion, NFTs, gaming, and trade finance. Applications were open through August 20, 2021.
