The Soroban Adoption Fund's first program, Sorobanathon: First Light, wrapped up December 15th with strong community participation. The program received 59 technical submissions from 27 unique developers, exceeding the initial goal of 30, and distributed 93,600 XLM in rewards. Notable submissions included DAO contracts, lottery and auction smart contracts, Tic Tac Toe tutorials, SDK integrations for Python and AssemblyScript, and developer onboarding guides. The program also expanded to include NFT artists creating artwork for Stellar Quest Live Series 5's narrative. SDF followed up with a Twitch series featuring developers discussing their Soroban projects. The next phase launches January 13th, 2023 with Hacka-Soroban-athon, a hackathon focused on ecosystem tool development and gathering developer feedback.
