Trustless Work has released a major update introducing two escrow contract types: Single-Release for one-shot payouts and Multi-Release for milestone-based payments. The API has been restructured with type-scoped endpoints, and a new React library is available in beta. Upgraded Backoffice and Demo dApps provide enhanced UX and examples for developers building on Stellar.

The update introduces Single-Release escrows for transactions with a single payout after all milestones are approved, and Multi-Release escrows for independent milestone approvals, ideal for freelance and phased projects. API endpoints are now prefixed by escrow type (e.g., /single-release/fund-escrow), replacing the old unified structure, with changes to key operations like initialize-escrow and release-funds. A beta React library simplifies frontend integration for escrow interactions and milestone management. The Backoffice dApp features revamped UX for role management and fund releases, while the Demo dApp serves as a cloneable example. These enhancements support building grant platforms, P2P apps, rentals, DAO bounties, and fintech workflows on the Stellar-based platform.
