Adam Ludwin is stepping down as CEO of Interstellar to lead Pogo, a new mobile wallet interoperability spin-out. Mike Kennedy, co-founder of Zelle and former Stellar Development Foundation advisor, takes over as Interstellar CEO effective September 15.

Adam Ludwin is departing as CEO of Interstellar, the company focused on expanding the Stellar blockchain ecosystem, to lead Pogo, a new spin-out targeting interoperability between mobile wallets. Mike Kennedy, who co-founded Zelle and previously served as an advisor to the Stellar Development Foundation since 2017, becomes Interstellar's new CEO effective September 15. Kennedy brings extensive experience from the financial services industry, including seven years at Wells Fargo and leadership of Zelle, which is used by JPMorgan Chase, Citi, and Bank of America. Kennedy stated that Interstellar will deliver missing infrastructure pieces to help the Stellar network achieve its potential in international payments. Pogo will operate as a subsidiary of Interstellar and will focus on connecting different types of mobile wallets worldwide.
