ProofBridge is a peer-to-peer cross-chain bridge secured by zero-knowledge proofs, connecting Stellar and Ethereum. Makers (liquidity providers) and bridgers (users) are matched directly on each trade, with funds held in protocol-controlled escrow on each chain and released only when an on-chain ZK proof confirms the counterpart deposit. The protocol uses Merkle Mountain Ranges and Noir UltraHonk circuits to replace trusted validators with cryptographic proof, enabling trustless, permissionless cross-chain transfers — launching with USDC ↔ USDC on Stellar Mainnet and Ethereum Mainnet.
