Cypher Integrates Stellar
Cypher, a multi-chain wallet and crypto card, integrated with Stellar on May 28, 2026, consolidating wallet, card, DEX swap, cross-chain bridge, and Blend lending access into one interface. Users can hold and spend USDC, EURC, PYUSD, and XLM with zero Cypher fees on USDC card loads.

Cypher has integrated with Stellar, giving users the ability to hold, send, swap, bridge, lend, and spend eligible Stellar assets from a single interface. The team announced the integration on May 28, 2026.
What the Integration Covers
Cypher is a multi-chain wallet and crypto card product. The Stellar integration supports USDC, EURC, PYUSD, and Lumens (XLM), with send and receive flows that include QR codes and transaction history, swapping through Stellar's built-in DEX, and connection to supported external wallets.
The Cypher Card is central to the product: users can load the card from eligible Stellar stablecoins, with no Cypher fees on USDC loads. From there, cardholders can spend at eligible Visa-accepting merchants, subject to terms and availability.
Cross-chain users can bridge eligible assets between EVM chains, Solana, and Stellar from within Cypher, removing the need for a separate bridge application.
Blend Access for Eligible Users
For eligible users, the integration adds a front-end interface for Blend, Stellar's lending and borrowing protocol. Within Cypher, those users can access Blend lending and borrowing pools, view deposit positions and collateral balances, track health factors and claimable amounts, manage Blend backstopping and auction flows, and claim eligible rewards.
Blend ended Q1 2026 with $100.6 million in total value locked, a 25.9% gain quarter-over-quarter, making it the largest individual protocol by TVL on Stellar. Stellar's total DeFi TVL stood at $174.4 million at the end of Q1, following 284% year-over-year growth from $44.9 million at end-2024.
Blend previously required users to navigate its own DeFi interface. The Cypher integration packages those tools into the same app where users manage their card and stablecoin balances.
The Stablecoin Lineup
USDC and EURC have been live on Stellar as long-standing assets on the network. PYUSD, PayPal's dollar-denominated stablecoin, launched on Stellar in September 2025. All three, alongside XLM, are now holdable and spendable through Cypher.
Stellar has built infrastructure oriented toward fast, low-cost stablecoin settlement. Cypher's card and wallet layer sits at the consumer end of that stack: a single interface where users hold stablecoins, swap when needed, and spend at merchants without switching apps.
What Changed
Before this integration, a user wanting to hold Stellar stablecoins, access Blend, and spend with a card would need to coordinate across multiple applications. Cypher consolidates those functions: wallet, DEX access, cross-chain bridge, Blend front-end, and Visa card in one place.
The Blend access, specifically, puts a protocol with $100.6 million in TVL in front of a card-holding user base without a separate application requirement.
