Stellar Development Foundation and partners launch a free two-week bootcamp starting October 20 teaching developers to build on Stellar and Soroban, with top students winning scholarships to DevConnect in Buenos Aires and access to a 15k USD hackathon.
A Twitter Space announced a comprehensive developer education program called 'Zero to dApp with Stellar and Rust' launching October 20. The free, fully online bootcamp runs for two weeks with pre-recorded classes covering Stellar Classic, Soroban smart contracts, and dApp development. Participants who complete the course qualify for prizes including badges, five full-paid scholarships to DevConnect in Buenos Aires, and entry to an online hackathon with over 15k USD in prizes. The program is led by Odisea in partnership with Stellar Development Foundation, BAF (Blockchain Association Foundation), AjaLabs, and Myosin. DevConnect will feature a Stellar House, intensive bootcamp sessions October 17-19, and a hackathon October 20-22 with additional prize pools. The curriculum is taught entirely in Spanish with optional live office hours and AMAs.
