Lumen Loop's take

In this conversation with Stellar's Nick Gilbert, Etherfuse CEO Dave Taylor explains stable bonds: tokenized representations of government debt that distribute yield to token holders rather than issuers. Unlike traditional stablecoins that capture all yield, stable bonds return 98% of treasury yields to users. Currently available on Stellar's DEX are bonds backed by US treasuries, Mexican government debt (Tesoros), British gilts, and Brazilian treasuries. These assets enable builders to launch local stablecoins, reduce forex friction in cross-border payments, and provide access to previously restricted financial instruments. Etherfuse plans to expand to 100+ currency markets within a year and is launching direct bank integration in Mexico and Brazil.
