At Meridian, Sam Conner and Daniel Fisher discussed their community-driven projects supporting Stellar. Stellar Global, launched on Discord, connects the fragmented Stellar community across 4.6 million accounts by providing centralized news, developer resources, and country-specific channels for Africa, Korea, Turkey, Ireland, Austria, and others. Public Node, a 501c3 nonprofit, runs three validator nodes and two Horizon endpoints globally while producing weekly podcasts and enabling community members to vote on protocol upgrades. Both speakers emphasized how the community has matured beyond hype-driven participation toward sustainable, mission-focused involvement. They highlighted the importance of accessible entry points, cross-community collaboration, and non-developer participation in building Stellar's future.
