OrbitLens presented Reflector, Stellar's decentralized oracle network that launched in April 2024 and now secures over $40M in TVL across DeFi protocols. The system operates via multi-sig consensus from seven organizations, offers on-chain price feeds and subscription services, and recently expanded governance through a DAO launched in December 2024.
OrbitLens detailed Reflector's journey from concept at Meridian 2022 to becoming a core Stellar DeFi infrastructure. The decentralized oracle network launched on mainnet in April 2024 with a three-of-five multi-sig consensus, providing on-chain price feeds and webhook-based subscription services. In December 2024, Reflector transitioned to DAO governance powered by the XRF utility token, with seven organizations now operating the consensus (four-of-seven threshold). The system maintains 99.8% SLA and protects over $40M in TVL. Recent additions include foreign exchange rate feeds for major cryptocurrencies and expansion beyond Stellar to other chains and web services. Reflector is now the standard oracle solution for production DeFi protocols on Stellar.
