In this Stellar Global community event, Script3 (Marcus and Alex) demonstrated Blend, a protocol enabling projects to create custom lending pools on Stellar. Key features include dynamic interest rate models adapted from Reflexer, automatic backstop insurance mechanisms, and batch transaction actions. The protocol has attracted early adopters like ClickPesa and XLR launching their own pools. Orbit Lens then presented Reflector, a decentralized price feed oracle network operated by Script3, Publicnode, Ultrastellar, Cyclolabs, and StellarExpert. Reflector is transitioning to DAO governance with a new utility token (XRF) that will enable governance voting, subscription services for faster price updates, and node operator incentives. The token will be issued on Stellar Classic and usable on Soroban, with no pre-sales or venture capital involvement.
