CompoSecure's Arculus Cold Storage Wallet has integrated with MoneyGram Access, enabling users to convert physical cash into USDC on Stellar and withdraw it at 440,000+ MoneyGram locations globally. Arculus also received a Stellar Development Foundation grant to develop Soroban smart contracts for DeFi Pay, allowing stablecoin holders to spend directly from self-custody wallets via traditional payment card rails.

CompoSecure announced that its Arculus Cold Storage Wallet now integrates with MoneyGram Access, making it the first hardware wallet to do so. This integration allows users to convert physical cash into Circle USD Coin (USDC) on the Stellar blockchain at participating MoneyGram locations and securely store their digital dollars in self-custody. The partnership addresses financial inclusion by serving unbanked populations in over 200 countries and territories where MoneyGram operates. Additionally, Arculus received a grant from the Stellar Development Foundation to develop Soroban smart contracts for DeFi Pay, enabling seamless payments over traditional Visa and Mastercard payment card rails directly from self-custody crypto wallets. This innovation allows stablecoin holders to spend their assets with a simple card tap while retaining full control of their funds until purchase, bridging digital assets and traditional commerce.
