Blockchain, a major crypto wallet provider with 30 million users, announced a $125 million XLM airdrop to wallet holders who sign up, distributing nearly 500 million Stellar lumens. This marks Stellar's first partnership under Blockchain's new airdrop program framework. CEO Peter Smith framed the initiative as putting users first by enabling them to test and transact with trusted assets safely. Stellar Development Foundation co-founder Jed McCaleb emphasized that airdrops are key to building financial inclusion and that leveraging Blockchain's massive user base will increase network utility significantly. The company is also partnering with charity:water, Stanford d.school, code.org, and Network for Good to boost XLM adoption.
