StellarExpert launches API subscriptions for accessing the full Stellar ledger. Developers and products can now query 11 years of transaction history, contract state, events, and analytics through indexed endpoints. Plans start at $29/month; Testnet access remains free. The API also supports x402 pay-per-request for AI agents.

StellarExpert, the Stellar network's primary block explorer, launched API subscriptions on November 5, 2026, making its indexed ledger data available to developers and products through tiered subscription plans. The API provides access to the complete Stellar ledger history from 2015 onward, including transaction data, account information, asset details, and market analytics, with specialized endpoints for smart contract developers offering live contract state, event history with full-text search, invocation analytics, and WASM contract binaries. The subscription model addresses the engineering and infrastructure costs of running a custom indexer: instead of maintaining their own data pipeline, developers can access StellarExpert's enterprise-grade infrastructure with high availability, edge-cached responses, and complete Stellar protocol history. Subscription plans range from $29/month for development use to enterprise tiers with flexible metering; free Testnet access and certain free endpoints (directory, ticker, asset supply data) remain available to all. The API also supports x402 pay-per-request payment, enabling AI agents to query data without pre-registered accounts.
